    Arcadia University's School of Global Business invites applications for a Tenure Track Economics Faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor with an expected start date of August 1 2020.     The School of Global Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and offers bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Accounting, Healthcare Administration, International Business and Culture, Sport Management, and accelerated three-year degrees. A master’s degree in Business Administration with a Global Perspective is also offered through the school, which includes two international business experiences integrated into the capstone experience.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions

    • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Economics both at introductory and advanced levels
    • Maintain an active research agenda and contribute to the discipline through publication in peer reviewed publications
    • Curriculum Development
    • Student Advising
    • Serving on committees at the School and University level

     

    Marginal Functions

    • Ability to teach in a second business discipline is a plus (Finance Preferred)
    • Create and maintain relationships within the business community in the greater Philadelphia Area to promote education and job opportunities for students.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates for this position must have a doctoral degree in Economics with teaching experience in Economics at the university level, a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, and work-related experience in economics.
    • Promising ABDs who expect to have their degree completed by Aug 2020 will also be considered.
