    The Department of Historical & Political Studies (HAPS) at Arcadia University, invites applications for an Adjunct Professor to teach one course in the spring of 2019, specifically Applied Logic (on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 am).

     

    Arcadia’s College of Arts and Sciences offers programs in science, technology, and math; humanities; visual and performing arts; communications; and historical and political studies. These programs prepare students for careers that contribute to a global society and allow students to exhibit, perform, and publish on campus through a variety of campus media outlets, including an art gallery, a literary magazine, and an online journal.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate would have expertise and be able to teach Applied Logic.   A Ph.D. by December 19, 2018, is preferred, as is a demonstrated excellence in and commitment to teaching. Research experience and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion are highly desirable.
