    The School of Global Business seeks applications for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track, Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics for the 2019/2020 academic year.


    The School of Global Business provides a dynamic, challenging and diverse environment in which the entire university community is fully engaged in supporting student success.  The School of Global Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and offers Bachelor's Degrees in Business Administration and Accounting, Healthcare Administration, International Business and Culture, Sport Management and accelerated three year degrees. A Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a Global Perspective is also offered through the School and includes two international business experiences; a business trip to a developed country and a business trip to an emerging economy, integrated into their capstone MBA experience.

    Teaching responsibilities for this position include teaching a six course load per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The ability to teach in a second business discipline is a plus. The successful candidate for this position will also be responsible for developing curriculum, advising students, publishing in peer reviewed publications and creating exceptional relationships within the Philadelphia business community.



    Candidates for this position must have a doctoral degree in Economics with teaching experience in Economics at the university level, a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, and work-related experience in the finance industry. Candidate may be required to teach at one of Arcadia's international campuses, online or via teleconference. Faculty are expected to have professional and ethical standards and able to perform as excellent teachers, researchers and provide service to the University and the community, and to achieve these goals with the highest professional and ethical standards.
