The Department of Modern Languages in the College of Arts and Sciences at Arcadia University is seeking applicants for a part-time adjunct position in American Sign Language (ASL) commencing in September 2018. Strong candidates must demonstrate a desire to teach and show relevant teaching experience.
The successful candidate must have a Masters in American Sign Language and must be certified by the American Sign Language Teachers Association. Applicants must have native or near-native fluency in American Sign Language. One or two sections of ASL101 will be taught in the fall semester and one or two sections of ASL 102 will be taught in the spring semester.
