The School of Global Business at Arcadia University invites applicants with education, knowledge and experience in Economics for a full-time tenure-track faculty position.


The School of Global Business is one of Arcadia University's six specialty schools and colleges. The School of Global Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and offers Bachelor's Degrees in Business Administration and Accounting, Healthcare Administration, International Business and Culture, and Sport Management.  A Master's Degree in Business Administration with a Global Perspective is also offered through the School.

Teaching responsibilities for this position include teaching a six-course load per academic year including undergraduate and graduate offerings. The ability to teach in a second business discipline is a plus (finance preferred). The successful candidate for this position will also be responsible for developing curriculum, advising students, publishing in peer reviewed publications and creating exceptional relationships within the Philadelphia business community.


Preferred Qualifications


Candidates for this position must have a doctoral degree in Economics with teaching experience in Economics at the university level, a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, and work-related experience in the economics. The successful candidate may be required to teach at one of Arcadia's international campuses, online or via teleconference. Faculty are expected to have professional and ethical standards and be able to perform as excellent teachers, researchers and provide service to the University and the community, and to achieve these goals with the highest professional and ethical standards. This is a nine-month tenure track position with the School of Global Business.
